Providing CHWs/Protomores a Forum for Collaboration and Capacity-Building
The San Diego County Promotores Coalition (SDCPC) recognizes the unique role that CHWs/Promotores play in improving the health and well-being of their communities. We are creating spaces for CHWs/Promotores and their employers to come together, share dreams and ideas, and work together to strengthen communities across San Diego County.
Community Health Workers (CHWs) / Promotores
Promotores are peer leaders who are from the communities they serve. CHWs/Promotores support their communities in a variety of roles, most often building bridges that draw upon their lived experience, linguistic and cultural expertise, and deep community relationships to engage, connect and create change.
General Coalition Meetings
Connect with CHW/P/Rs across San Diego County every other month to share resources, updates, and collaboration opportunities.
Join us on the Third Wednesday, 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm (virtual) and quarterly in-person gatherings!
Regional Quarterly CHW/P Meetings
We invite CHW/P/Rs to join us in their region, North, South, Central, or East, for community-centered learning and connection.
