Rachel Morineau

Co-Chair

San Diego County Promotores Coalition(SDCPC) Co-Chair Rachel Morineau is passionate about utilizing her knowledge in capacity building, development and increasing leadership among CHW/Promotores.  As a member of the Promotores Education Committee (PEC) in 2013, she has dedicated a decade to supporting the development of the SDCPC and serving in various leadership roles.  As Community Engagement Director for SBCS (formerly known as South Bay Community Services), Rachel works to strengthen our community through involvement, partnership, and a shared desire to lift up and empower children, youth, and families for a better tomorrow through services and programs, including, but not limited to Promotores, resident leadership, food assistance and distribution, family resource centers, and community wellness. As a leading organization supporting the Live Well San Diego model, her team has been instrumental in the development and implementation of programs to advance health equity, food security, and chronic disease prevention across San Diego County. With the support of her CHW/Promotores together they have provided direct services that impact the safety and support in the San Diego County to over 30,000 community members.
